Sources close to Michael (okay, it was everyone in the office) confirm he is not a fan of the cold. With Melbourne turning on its signature four-seasons-in-one-day winter special, Michael has taken decisive action.

From Beach Selfies to Bruschetta Selfies

Regular followers of Michael's camera roll will know the man loves nothing more than a cheeky selfie by the beach. See Exhibit A on Instagram for the evidence. Sadly, Melbourne in July is less "sun, sand and surf" and more "wind, wool and why-did-I-leave-Sydney".

But fear not. Michael has a plan. Drawing on his proud Italian heritage, he'll be swapping the sandy backdrops for something far more delicious: selfies at his hand-picked Italian restaurant. Expect pasta. Expect espresso. Expect at least one photo where the carbonara is more in focus than Michael is.

And here's the best bit for the rest of us: Michael has vowed to document the entire adventure, promising to take loads of selfies for ALL IT's social media pages. Scarf selfies. Laneway selfies. "Look at the size of this cannoli" selfies. If it happens in Melbourne, it's ending up on the socials.
