July 2026 Client Newsletter

Your July update.

The Smart Forms rollout, monthly client reports, exciting news for All IT, and getting ahead of Windows 11 26H2.

Hi there,

Welcome to your July update. Four things this month: the Smart Forms rollout across our client base, the monthly client report your Relationship Manager is now sending, some significant news about All IT’s future, and a heads-up on what we’re doing to prepare for Windows 11 26H2, the next major Windows release.

1 · Now Rolling Out

Smart Forms: the rollout is well underway

Since launching Smart Forms, we’ve been rolling them out across our client base — and they’re already lifting the speed and quality of the service you receive. These guided, AI-powered request forms capture everything we need up-front, validate details against your live environment and kick off the work behind the scenes the moment you hit submit.

Where they shine brightest

New starter onboarding — account, licence, mailbox, security groups and shared access sorted from a single form, so your new team member is ready on day one
Offboarding — a secure exit checklist that disables sign-in, revokes sessions, reclaims licences and hands over data, so nothing is missed when someone moves on
Everyday requests — password and MFA resets, mailbox access, group changes, licence and device requests, all with built-in approvals where they matter

Simply log in with your business email — no new passwords to remember.

2 · Now In Place

Your monthly client report

Your Relationship Manager is now formalising and sending a monthly report for your organisation. One clear snapshot, every month, of the things that matter most to your security and your spend:

DMARC & domain security Rolling out now
DMARC and domain security updates are being rolled out across client domains right now — protecting your email domain against spoofing and impersonation, with your report showing exactly what we’re tightening on your behalf.

Coming in the next few weeks

Interactive Licensing & User Access Reviews — pulling live, up-to-date user audits straight from your IT environment, so you can see exactly who has access to what and confirm you’re not paying a cent more than you should. Licensing has become one of the biggest burdens on any business’s IT spend — one you can’t live without, but one you certainly shouldn’t overpay for.

Device health
Huntress protection status, Microsoft 365 device reporting and device age — so ageing hardware is flagged before it becomes a problem.
Identity security
Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR) and Microsoft 365 identity updates — the front line against account compromise.
Microsoft 365 & server backups
Confirmation your 365 data and servers are backing up successfully, with any gaps called out.
Licensing & user access
What you’re paying for versus what’s actually in use — so you’re never carrying licences you don’t need.
User access reviews
Regular reviews of who has access to what, so departed staff and stale accounts don’t linger as a security risk.

No action needed — your reports will land in your inbox from your Relationship Manager, who’ll walk you through them and answer any questions.

4 · Looking Ahead

Preparing for Windows 11 26H2 — the next major Windows release

Microsoft has confirmed Windows 11 26H2 for release around September–October this year. For most devices it arrives as a small “enablement package” — a quick download and a single restart, not a lengthy upgrade — and once installed, each device is supported through to October 2028. As always, we get ahead of it so your team doesn’t have to think about it.

What’s coming in 26H2

A more flexible taskbar — move it to the top, left or right of the screen, or shrink it to free up space on smaller laptops
Smarter search — an optional AI-powered “Ask Copilot” search and a dockable Copilot panel inside File Explorer
A tidier File Explorer — simplified right-click menus with common actions grouped together
Clearer privacy controls — an at-a-glance view of which apps can use your camera, microphone and location

What All IT is doing

1 Testing first — we validate each release in our own environment before it goes anywhere near yours
2 Checking compatibility — line-of-business applications, printers and drivers are checked before rollout
3 Assessing device readiness — Microsoft has flagged that some older hardware won’t be eligible for 26H2, so devices that can’t take the update (or may struggle with it) are flagged in your monthly report, with replacement recommendations well ahead of time
4 Rolling out in stages — updates are deployed progressively through our managed patching, outside business hours wherever possible

What your staff should expect

A one-off restart when the update lands on their device — saving work and restarting when prompted is all that’s needed
Some minor visual changes and new features (including AI-powered additions) — everyday apps and files stay exactly where they are
If anything looks off after the update, log a ticket or use Smart Forms — we’ll sort it quickly

We’ll confirm rollout timing with you before anything changes in your environment.

As always, if you’d like to talk through anything in this update, just reply to this email or give us a call.

Cheers,

Your Relationship Manager
